Carol Sanders

Carol Deaton Sanders, age 72 passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Genesis HealthCare in Siler City.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by her grandson Kevin Maness.
A native of Moore County she was the daughter of the late Gurney and Florence Williams Deaton. She worked at Klaussner Furniture in Asheboro before retiring. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Simpson; brothers Meriel, Jerry and Billy Deaton.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years J.C. Sanders; children Calvin Sanders of Seagrove, Kim Burroughs and husband Michael, Floyd Sanders and wife Karen, Beth Ammons and husband Steve all of Asheboro; brother James Deaton of West End; grandchildren Tricia Chriscoe and husband Kent, Jonathan Maness and wife Laura, Aaron Maness, Kevin Maness and wife Sesily, Katie Sanders, Bryan Sanders, Lincoln Sanders, Ethan Davis and Laura Ammons; great-grandchildren Hope Chriscoe, Hannah Chriscoe, Damion Maness, Rhylea Maness, Avery Maness and Ryan Maness.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins.

I grew up with Carol and loved her mother whom I called Granny Florence because she was with my mother the night I was born. Carol was a great and talented musician I remember her piano and accordion playing very well and went with her to church and praye
