Doris Cagle Albright, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Duke Medical Center Durham, NC.  

Funeral Service will be 1 PM Friday, March 30, 2018 at Smyrna United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend David Woodhouse and Reverend Farrell Hussey officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11 AM in the Sanctuary and following the Committal, in the Smyrna Family Life Center.

Doris was a native of Moore County.  She was a graduate of Westmoore High and retired from the USDA. She loved to have a garden, cooking and preserving the harvest for her family and friends.  She enjoyed traveling with her family and was a lifelong Duke basketball fan. Doris was a daughter of the late Ellis and Hattie Hussey Cagle.

Doris is survived by husband of 62 years Donald; daughters:  Debbie Needham and husband Bradley, Cheryl Albright; sons: Ronnie Albright, Donnie Albright, Chad Albright; grandson: Chris Albright and wife Brenna; great grand children: Maddox and Reagan; many cousins and friends.
