Howard Martin, 73, died November 26, 2017 at the FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC.
A memorial service will be held at Powell Funeral Home and Crematory, 160 East New Hampshire Avenue, Southern Pines, NC on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:30 am, officiated by the Reverend Archie Stevens.
A native of New York, he moved here over 38 years ago, first working locally as an Automotive Service Technician, then changing careers to an antique furniture refinisher starting along with his wife Carol, The Ashley Heights Furniture Stripping and Refinishing . In his free time he enjoyed playing golf.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Carol Martin of Aberdeen; two sons, Christopher and James Martin of Aberdeen, NC; and daughter, Kelly Pratz (Chris) of Pinebluff, NC. and two grand-daughters Sydney and Jordan Pratz.
