Faye Moore Williams, 87,  passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at UNC Rex Healthcare, Raleigh, NC, surrounded by family.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Beulah Hill Baptist Church, with Reverend Darrell Williams and Reverend Curtis Barbery officiating. Burial will follow at the Williams Family Cemetery, Eagle Springs, NC.

Faye was a native of Moore County and a graduate of West End High School, where she was involved in many activities.  She was known as “Home Run Faye” on the softball field. She worked in textiles and later at Nichols Pottery, where she was always ready to share a smile and a kind word. Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.  Family was most important to her. Family meals, that she loved to cook, in later years could include about 70 people. Faye enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She planted a garden and enjoyed canning, freezing and sharing the produce with everyone she could. She was a daughter of the late John Thomas and Mary Lee Gordon Moore and was predeceased by her husband: John Williams, grandson: Christopher; son in law: Stephen; and 5 siblings.

Faye is survived by daughters:  Sharon McNeill, Roxanne Thomas, Marie Maness, Robin Nichols and husband Garry, Ella Grace Lemonds; son: Beau Williams,  grandchildren: Sonya, Billy, Kimberly, Jeffery, Steffanie, Matthew, Carrie, Hollie, Michelle, Kirby, Tommy, Brandi, Jody, Melanie, 34 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; sisters: Mabel Foster, Carolyn Moore; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials may be made to Beulah Hill Baptist Church, P O Box 492, West End, NC 27376.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Friday, March 15, 2019 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
