Lenora Williams Dunlap 85,  passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at  her home, surrounded by her children.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Union Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Dr. Ron Chaney  officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12 noon in the Sanctuary.

Lenora was a native of Moore County.  She retired after over 40 years service with Acme McCary Inc.  Lenora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved the Lord and was devoted to her church and church family. Lenora loved her family and any time spent with them was special. Her grandchildren lovingly called her “Grandma Nore”.She enjoyed gardening, cooking and preserving the harvest for her family and friends.  Lenora was a daughter of the late Stephen Howard and Mamie Ethel Bray Williams and was preceded in death by her husband: JE Dunlap; granddaughter: Ashley LeGrand; 2 brothers and 2 sisters..

Lenora is survived by daughter: Shelia Myrick and husband Jim, of Southern Pines,  son: Keith Dunlap and wife Lisa, of Seagrove,; daughter: Joanna LeGrand and husband Vernon, of Eagle Springs;; grandchildren: Travis Dunlap and wife Wendy, Jason Myrick and wife Dolly, Hilarie Dunlap and James Greene, Corey Shepard and husband Caleb, Kyndal Brown and husband Kenton, Jamie Myrick, Justin Dunlap, Heather Simmons and husband Brandon, Jana Hartis; 16 great grandchildren many neighbors and friends.

Memorials may be made Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 7912 Union Grove Church Road, Seagrove, NC 27341.
