Louise Oldham Fricke, 86, passed away peacefully at Peak Resources/Pinelake on Monday February 4, 2019.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Cool Springs United Methodist Church with the Reverend William Cashion officiating.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service, beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Louise loved her Lord and attending church.  She enjoyed singing in the choir and interacting with the children. Flowers, gardening and spending time with her family and friends was so dear to her.  Louise counted it a privilege to have been a military wife for 20 years

She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Ruth Oldham, and her husband of 57 years Bert Fricke; sister Dot Nauertz and step-mother Margaret Oldham.

Survivors are daughters, Ruth Williams and husband Edwin of Robbins and Cathy Graham and husband Dan of Greensboro.  Grandchildren; Maegen Williams (Alex) of Seagrove; Lucas Williams (Amanda) of Eagle Springs and great grandchild: Eleanor Menius of Seagrove. Siblings: Pat Sheffield (DA)  of Robbins, Buddy Oldham (Marie) of Carthage; step -siblings: Treva Williams (Jerry) of Eagle Springs, Jean Lucas (Cleve) of Pinehurst, Bobby Mabe of Jackson Springs and Aldene Mabe of West End.

Many  thanks to Charla Matthews who graciously helped with mom’s care and to the staff of  Peak Resources/Pinelake for the great care they gave her over the last several years.  A special thank you to her roommate Rachel Brady for keeping mom company.
