Mae Harmon

Mary Mae Harmon, 95, of Carthage, passed away on January 18, 2019 at Peak Resource - Pinelake in Carthage.
A native of Watauga County, NC she was a daughter of the late Dan and Maggie Ward. She was a lifetime homemaker raising eight children.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Spivey of Carthage, NC, Phyllis Harmon of Gibsonville, NC; sons, William Harmon of Icard, NC, Danny Harmon of Erect, NC, Johnny Harmon of Carthage, NC, Randy Harmon of Robbins, NC; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Filmore Harmon, daughter, Maggie Cockman, son, Steve Harmon; grandson Joey Spivey.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Kennedy Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Cool Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
