Mildred Reynolds 97, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Peak Resources of Alamance.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 19 2018 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, with the Reverend William Saunders and Reverend Tommy Privette officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00.

She was born in Hoke County NC, lived in Scotland County with her parents and siblings, moved to Alamance County to work and live with her brothers and their wives. This is where she met her loving husband Neulan Reynolds and when they married they made a home in Robbins, Moore County NC. Mildred enjoyed being a homemaker and a part of the community she lived in by being an active member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women group and participating in many Moore County Extension Homemaker activities. She also spent time sharing in the lives of her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and her siblings. Nothing was greater than the love she expressed to her grandchildren, daughter, and son-in-law. She spent time collecting their favorite snacks, toys to share, jokes to read, games to play and photos to share with friends. When Mildred moved into assisted iving communities she continued to be active there as well by leading devotions, sharing jokes and playing serious games of bingo.

Preceded in death by her husband Neulan Reynolds, parents Lola and Zeb Hearn, Sr, and her brothers and sisters.

Her surviving family includes her daughter Beth and husband Doby Whited, grandchildren Kevin (Megan), Jason (Korie), David, Nathan, Jenna Whited.

A special thank you to all the caregivers placed in  Mildred's life over the past few years of declining health. Especially those at Peak Resources of Alamance County. They were caring helpful workers in her life.
