Rose Colletti Scali , age 91, of Southern Pines, died Sunday, February 24, 2019 at her home.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Powell Funeral Home conducted by Father Andrew McNair. A private burial will follow at Mt Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
A native of Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of Pelligrino Colletti and Santina Roda Colletti.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dominick J. Scali, her brother Benny Colletti and her sister Mary LaPorta.
She is survived by her son, Don Scali of Southern Pines, NC; daughter, Karen Scali of Durham, NC; sister, Dale Prestianni of Valley Stream, NY.
Powell Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the Scali family.
